Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Painted Post, NY
Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time

Responsibilities: As an Occupational Therapist with ProCare Therapy, you will:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to enhance students' motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and overall independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to develop strategies and accommodations that support students' participation and success in the classroom.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, while fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Stay informed about the latest research, techniques, and best practices in occupational therapy.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid state licensure NY
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
